Memento Mori

The entirety of Memoirs is one simple message - memento mori. Remember death - remember your mortality. Liz and Will are just two dead leaf echoes of Julian's morality and their own mortality.

This comes at a point in my life where I have been very much reminded of the frailty of my own existence, having lost my mentor and uncle a year ago, my aunt three weeks ago, my grandfather three days ago, my maternal one deceased several years prior.

Death is the one universal truth. At least, that's what I believe. But I suppose there's more than one kind of death.

I apologize to you, Julian, for what you must go through.
